Traveler System Feasibility Study
I preformed a feasibility study for a construction project was worth $200 million for the Golden Gate suicide Deterrent Fence Project. Under the umbrella of the project the company was preforming a wind retrofit, and creating a maintenance system, called travelers, in witch four independent maintenance system will travel the full length of the bridge and allow the Golden Gate Bridge Maintenance team to preform certain functions. I shifted through about 50 Auto cad drawings and read through the contract documents, and I found that the completion traveler system was not feasible to complete, at the current time. I found code violations, manufacturing and order inconsistencies, and possible safety problems, just general sloppy construction and design, and limited redundancy.
